A Call to Service
We are in the process of uploading more audio to the file hosting service at Mediafire and will be posting links in the next couple of days. This blog is meant to be a service project to make good recovery speakers available for free to all who want them, especially those who are homebound or live in areas without meetings. But one person cannot do it alone. If you can donate even a couple of minutes of your time to help another get the message of recovery please email recoverylibrary@yahoo.com. No matter how small the contribution may be of your time, it is appreciated.

If you're exploring your spiritual side and want to learn more about other religions, Foundations of Buddhism is an excellent overview. It provides information on what Buddhism is, their sacred texts, who Buddha is, as well as an introduction to the main tenets of Buddhism. A quick overview of the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path, and the 5 Precepts are included. While being spiritual doesn't mean you have to belong to any particular religion, there's nothing wrong with learning about other spiritual traditions and taking what learn and incorporating it in your own daily life.
